How it works

Meet the Instructor

I hold a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and have been coaching adults for over five years. Based in Sintra, Portugal, I've had the pleasure of working with learners from all over the world, which means I understand the different challenges people face when learning English, no matter where they come from.

I know that learning a language as an adult is not always easy. Life is busy, progress can feel slow, and it's easy to lose motivation. That's why I focus on making every session practical, engaging, and tailored to what you actually need, whether that's speaking more confidently, writing more clearly, or feeling at ease in professional situations.

Every session is designed around your specific needs and goals, because I know that one size never fits all. You'll always leave with something useful — a new skill, a clearer understanding, or simply more confidence than you had before.

Words of my students speak louder

  • I always struggled with speaking English at work. After a few months with Antea, I feel so much more confident in meetings and emails. She is patient, organized, and really understands what each student needs.

    —Margarida Ferreira, Business English student

  • Antea is a great teacher. She explains things in a simple way and always makes the class interesting. My English improved a lot and I feel much more comfortable speaking now.

    —Gilson, Business English student

  • I was nervous about my English level when I started but Antea made me feel comfortable from the very first class. Now I can have every day conversations.
